As Himalayan Rock Salt is a natural product, the colors can vary from white/pale pink to deep pink or orange. Nature of Himalayan Salt, when dissolved in water there may be leftover residue which can cause a change in the color of the water, this residue (often dark red/pink) comes from insoluble minerals, namely silica & iron, from the Salt. Although some of these minerals don’t fully dissolve in the water, they are bio-available (your body can absorb & use).
